I remember the time I produced a family memory video. For several weeks I collected pictures from various family members, some dating back to 1923. These pictures were transferred onto video from the earliest date to present. Then on Thanksgiving Day, as the family was enjoying the video I observed the younger generation members asking the older generation family members to identify the people that were appearing before their eyes. They could not believe that their parents were "once normal people" who enjoyed life as they live today. It was a breathtaking experience as I watched the video become a heritage and an educational tool right before my eyes.
